The book is about an ordinary human Clary Fray who gets in touch with shadowhunters (half human and half angel), when she’s not supposed to, turns out that this meeting with these unknown creatures has created a turning point in her life and she has now become acquainted with several secrets she wasn’t supposed to know for her own safety. This series of books are a must read and can be understood and read by all.
