How to clean brassware:

  • One can wet the brass utensil with water and use lemon and baking soda mix. Rub it on the utensil and wash it with water. Immediately pat it dry.
  • If you do not have baking soda, One can also use salt as an alternative.
  • One can also use Tamarind soaked in water as a scrub to wash brass.
  • The other alternative is the use of one spoon of vinegar in a little water. Add all purpose flour and make a thick paste. Rub it on the brass metal as a thin paste and leave it for 10 minutes. Scrub gently and wash it with water and pat dry immediately.
